WE.RE was founded in 2014 by the designers Katharina Weber and Theresa Reiter. Originally planned as a pop-up label, WE.RE has quickly grown to establish itself as an independent brand throughout Europe.

 

By combining clear cut designs, materials of the highest quality and uncompromised craftsmanship, WE.RE creates garments with a sustainable philosophy, Handmade in Germany.

 

The design language of WE.RE is renowned for reduced, sculptural shapes and sensual fabrics,

striving toward a pure and timeless aesthetic. Sophisticated minimalism, paired with purisitc elegance and casual comfort are the brand‘s trademark.

 

Every collection, starting from the initial inspiration to the completed garments is created in Germany. The WE.RE Store in Munich unites sales area, studio and headquaters of the brand in one space, transparently showing the process of design and manufacturing.

 

WE.RE values high-quality craftsmanship and sustainable production methods and distances itself from anonymous mass production. Every garment is handmade with great care in the Munich-based atelier and in cooperation with local manufacturers. 

 

In addition to fair working conditions and local production, WE.RE is focussed on the concept of creating a minimal carbon footprint. Most garments are made from ‚dead stock‘ materials, which are created through the production surplus of large design companies. Many fabrics used for the WE.RE Collections are manufactured in Europe and, if possible, GOTS certified.

WE.RE produces in exclusive editions and labels every item with a serial number.
